Hello

I’m Jo Weller, a level 3 Body Control Pilates certified teacher! I’ve enjoyed many forms of exercise during my life including figure skating training and dance, aerobics-style classes, water sports and boot camp fitness sessions with a PT. I wish I’d discovered Pilates earlier!

My Story

Much as I have enjoyed these forms of exercise, Pilates would have complemented and enhanced my performance in all these other sports. Pilates is not competitive. It is focused on personal improvement, body awareness and control rather than competition with others.

I explored Pilates after an injury and quickly discovered the benefits of this low impact exercise leading to recovery, improved core strength, posture and flexibility.

 

I enjoyed classes so much and the positive impact Pilates had on my body and headspace that I went on to train as a teacher with Body Control Pilates ®.
